Fudan University Center for Ethnic Studies and Research Base for the Chinese National Community (affiliated with the National Ethnic Affairs Commission)
Established in 2021, the base is directed by Professor Zou Shipeng, with Professors Fan Lizhu, Li Hui (School of Life Sciences), and Wang Xinsheng serving as deputy directors. Professors Cao Jinqing and Sun Xiangchen serve as chairs of the Academic Committee. The base employs 10 full-time and 10 part-time researchers and is affiliated with the School of Philosophy at Fudan University. Its main research areas include the construction of the Chinese national community and related ethnic theories.
