The two parties have now successfully held several academic conferences, and deepened academic mutual trust as well as  scientific research cooperation.

University of Vienna, located in the capital of Austria, is known as one of the most time-honored, the most important and the most large-scaled education center in Austria and even the whole German-speaking world. The Department of Art History of University of Vienna is especially outstanding and well-reputed. As the Alma Mater of many famous art history scholars such as Thausing and Wickhoff, the birthplace of Vienna School(which is a famous and important school of thought in the aspect of art history), and the first university to work with public art institutions so as to promote artistic research, the Department of Art History has made an indelible contribution to the discipline construction and development. The School of Philosophy of Fudan University hopes to strengthen the collaboration with the Department of Art History of University of Vienna through this program, so as topromote our further development in the fields of aesthetics and philosophy of art.
