On September 28, 2024, Ms. Antje Katzschner, Officer for Asia-Pacific Regional Cooperation at the International Office of the University of Hamburg, visited the School of Philosophy at Fudan University. She was warmly received by Professor Zhang Shuangli (Dean), Professor Bai Tongdong, Associate Professor Qi Tao, Associate Professor Cai Qinghua, and others. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions.
The discussions focused on a range of topics, including student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, research collaboration, and cooperation in the PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) program.
Over the past decade, the School of Philosophy at Fudan University has maintained a strong collaborative relationship with the Department of Philosophy at the University of Hamburg. Professors such as Ulrich Steinvorth, Peter Niesen, and Stephan Schmid from Hamburg have visited Fudan, offering courses and lectures. This visit not only continued the fruitful partnership but also opened up new prospects for future academic exchange and research cooperation.
