
Xu Yuan, was born in Shanghai and hails from Yin County, Zhejiang Province. He holds a Ph.D. from the Center for Research on Excavated Texts and Paleography at Fudan University. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Philosophy, Fudan University, and a specially appointed researcher at the Center for Research on Excavated Texts and Paleography, Fudan University.
He also holds concurrent positions as:
· Vice Dean of the Institute of Classical Studies, Tongji University
· Executive Director of the Chinese Confucius Association’s Research Committee on Classical Studies
· Council Member of the Shanghai Confucianism Research Association
· Editorial Board Member of Modern Confucianism and Studies on the Spring and Autumn Annals
· Member of the Chinese Society of Exegesis and the Chinese Society of Pre-Qin History
